Two wanted for armed robbery
Mariannhill SAPS are looking for two men suspected of robbery.

A MAN was arrested for armed robbery in Isizinda Road, KwaSanti, Mariannhill by members of the Mariannhill SAPS crime prevention unit.
According to W/O Trevor Govender, communications officer at SAPS Mariannhill, on Saturday 5 October at about 4.30am the victims were walking on the railway line to the railway station when they were approached by three men. Two of them took out guns and the other one had a knife.
“They were robbed of a jacket, two cellphones and cash they thereafter told the victims not to scream and fled on foot,” said Govender.
The other two men are still at large and police are appealing to anyone who has information that can lead to the arrest of the other two perpetrators.
