MARIANNHILL SAPS are looking for the relatives of a man whose body was found in Mariannhill with serious head injuries.
According to Mariannhill SAPS communication officer, W/O Trevor Govender, on Tuesday 28 May SAPS Mariannhill received a call from RK Khan Hospital about a deceased man at the hospital. The deceased, who was known as George Khoza (22), was found lying unconscious on Tshelimyama Road, in Mariannhill with serious injuries. It is not known whether he was assaulted or knocked by a vehicle.
“He was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries. A case of inquest has been opened at SAPS Mariannhill. Unfortunately a next of kin can not be located by the detective investigating the case. The deceased is at the Pinetown state mortuary yet to be identified,” said Govender.
