WESTVILLE Girls’ High School had three pupils perform exceptionally well in the 2013 National Senior Certificate examinations.
Siyah Rampersad, Camira Govender and Azeeza Paruk were the top pupils.
According to Maureen van den Bergh, spokesman for the school, WGHS had a 100 per cent pass rate, and 229 Bachelor passes (which is 99.56 per cent) out of 230 pupils.
There was 44 pupils with six or more distinctions, 742 subject distinctions and 104 pupils had four or more A symbols.
Azeeza achieved English (96 per cent), Afrikaans (94 per cent), maths (92 per cent), life orientation (91 per cent), accounting (100 per cent), life sciences (89 per cent), physical sciences (94 per cent) and maths paper three (78 per cent).
Siyah scored English (94 per cent), Afrikaans (93 per cent), maths (92 per cent), life orientation (94 per cent), accounting (98 per cent), life sciences (92 per cent), physical sciences (94 per cent) and maths paper three (99 per cent).
Camira’s marks were English (96 per cent), Afrikaans (88 per cent), maths (88 per cent), life orientation (97 per cent), accounting (99 per cent), geography (97 per cent), physical sciences (95 per cent) and maths paper three (96 per cent).
