Be aware of fake Reach for a Dream fundraiser

Watch out for fake fundraising collectors.

THE Reach for a Dream Foundation are warning people to be aware of a con artist who is pretending to collect funds on their behalf.

The man who drives a maroon car has been asking the public for R5 or R10 donations in the Phoenix area.

“This man doesn’t have permission to be collecting funds on behalf of the foundation, therefore we advise people to ignore him and his efforts completely,” said Anna da Graça, PR & Events Co-ordinator (KZN) for The Reach For A Dream Foundation.

“Anybody fundraising on behalf of RFAD will always have official documentation from the foundation and we do not solicit funds through street fundraising.”

If your hear or see anything suspicious, report it to RFAD on 031 566 2220 or email denise@reachforadream.org.za.
