Sign up for free PC courses

Rick Crouch will host free PC training courses for underprivileged residents in the Ward 10 area.

WARD 10 councillor, Rick Crouch, will host free computer training classes for the underprivileged residents of Ward 10.

The training will be conducted through his company Rick Crouch & Associates which has vast experience in computer training on an international level.

It is free to young and old underprivileged residents as all costs will be covered by his company.

“There is a great need for this type of training. You cannot get any decent job without computer skills and the underprivileged are caught in a catch 22 situation where they do not have the skills to get a job that would enable them to pay for training to advance themselves,” said Rick.

“It will be the same training we offer to the general public and it will begin with the very basics for the benefit of those who have never seen a computer and gradually work up to training on the Microsoft Office Suite of products. The only difference is that the general public attends the training sessions with their laptops and these folks do not have access to their own computers. Therefore, I am requesting if residents have any old computers that they no longer want and would like to donate it to this cause, please contact me and I will arrange for it to be picked up,” said Rick Crouch.

If you are interested in taking part in the courses or would like to donate your old PC, contact Rick Crouch on 031 764 1178, 073 418 6996 or email councillor@ward10.co.za.
