Added attractions at car, truck and bike expo

This year's expo was bigger and better.

THIS year’s Shongweni Car, Truck and Bike Expo at the Durban Shongweni Club not only catered for petrols heads but added a family element to the proceedings.

Exhibitors of trucks, cars, bikes, agricultural equipment and outdoor hobbies such as jet skis and boats occupied the Shongweni fields while pony rides, a mini fun fair, radio controlled car and helicopter demos meant that even youngsters had something to enjoy.

There was also plenty of refreshments, including the popular Beer Garden.

An added attraction this year was “The Singing Cowboy”, Armand van der Merwe who sang and performed on his amazingly talented horse, Thunder. There was also live music from various Durban bands to ensure a lively atmosphere.
