THE Roads Provision Department will be undertaking the rehabilitation of certain roads in the Ward 10 area of Hillcrest.
The work will involve removing the existing road layers and replacing them with new or overlaying on the existing road surface. In order to maintain a safe environment for both road users and construction workers, traffic will be controlled with stop/go controls.
Some work may have already commenced however the majority of the work is scheduled to commence at the end of May and the completion date is the end of August, depending on weather conditions and the availability of special materials.
Residents and road users are requested to exercise extreme caution while travelling through the work zone and to exercise patience.
Roads affected will be: Warrior Road from Delamore Road to cul de sac; Ntabeni Road from Warrior Road to Hilldene Road; Sandy Lane from Hilldene Road to cul de sac and Delamore Road from Hospital Road to cul de sac.
