Wenton Greys show raises over R14000 for equine welfare

Generosity of show goers aids horse welfare.

THE Wenton Greys Autumn Festival show jumping show raised an incredible R14361 for the Coastal Horse Care.

This is the fourth year running that Dr Richard Venniker, owner of Wenton Greys Stables has teamed up with the Coastal Horse Care Unit to organise this event to raise funds for equine welfare.

Not only is the amount raised made possible by the much appreciated sponsors and entries from the show, but by the generosity of the riders who donate their prize money to the Coastal Horse Care Unit and the friends and families who also contributed to raise R6401 of the total amount raised.

“Every year the riders, sponsors and organisers keep getting more and more on board. They are so generous to open their hearts to our cause. Thanks to all who supported this event, you cannot believe what a difference you make to making a better life for abused horses and ponies,” said Gill Olmesdahl, manager of Coastal Horse Care Unit.
