Local rugga shines bright

Kloof Senior Primary School's Jordan Dobson was chosen as the captain for the U12 KZN rugby team.

LEADERSHIP and strength are two of the qualities that catapulted Jordan Dobson, a Grade 6 pupil at Kloof Senior Primary School, into the KZN U12 rugby team and the reason he was chosen as the captain.

The 12-year-old was enthusiastic when he recounted being chosen a few weeks ago to take part in the U12 KZN rugby team and said he was really happy and his family was excited for him.

He said his main goals for the KZN team were to motivate them and improve their already impressive array of rugby abilities.

He said that rugby is his ultimate passion and would like to one day play for the Springboks or the All Blacks, but should he not make it in the sport he will move into the engineering field.
