Party has littlies jumping for joy
A local business donated R24 000 to the Apple Tree Foundation during the party celebrations.
GREAT fun was had by all when the team at Key Truck Hire hosted a fun party for the children at the Snakhokonke Crèche in KwaNyuswa.
The crèche is ably run by Ntombisikile Mbamba and her team of dedicated staff who look after more than 75 children. “Some of the children had never seen a jumping castle before and had to be coaxed onto it, but they soon got the hang of it. It was a joy to watch their happy faces,” said Gary Kemp, financial director of Key Truck Hire. Once the party celebrations had ended, he put the cherry on the cake when he handed a cheque of R24 000 to Jenny and David Hitch from the Apple Tree Foundation, a local NPO. Jenny said she will use the donation to have a jungle gym built for the children at the crèche, once a fence had been erected to keep it and the children safe. The Foundation assists with the feeding and clothing of around 600 children and gogos in KwaNyuswa.
