Pinetown homes ransacked while owners are out

Two homes were broken in to in two days while the homeowners weren't at home.

TWO Pinetown homes were broken in to in two days while the homeowners were away.

Pine-Ridge Neighbourhood Watch reported on its Facebook page that on Sunday, 7 September between 8am and 10am a house was broken into in Birch Road, Moseley Park while the home owners were at church.

Electrical items were stolen.

Then, on Monday, 8 September at about 2.20pm a house in Blenheim Road, Farningham Ridge was broken into.

It is believed the burglars kicked down a back door. A TV, laptop, PVR decoder and some jewelery were stolen.

The neighbourhood watch reported that the burglars then escaped over the wall into the Nazareth valley.

“Please be vigilant during the day and warn your domestic workers to report any suspicious activity they may see during the day,” the watch cautioned.
