Keeping Durbanites fit and healthy
Stay healthy and get free health screenings at Suncoast.

September is Heart Awareness Month and this year the Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF) is encouraging South Africans to ‘Beat the pressure. Get tested.’
The HSF together with SUNfit are offering free blood sugar and blood pressure tests and a SUNfit fitness class on Tuesday, 16 September at Suncoast Casino.
The screenings will be done from 4.30pm to 5pm with the SUNfit fitness class starting at 5pm on the grassed area on the Sundeck, next to the promenade.
Lisa Raleigh, HSF ambassador and wellness expert will be at the class to educate the public through a talk on the importance of knowing your body and understanding what it needs to perform at an optimum.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa plays a leading role in the fight against preventable heart disease and stroke, with the aim of seeing fewer South Africans suffer premature deaths and disabilities. The HSF, established in 1980 is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation and has NPO and section 21 status.
