St Mary’s Old Girls’ Committee welcomes newest members
The matrics were treated to a special morning by the Old Girl's Guild.
The St Mary’s Old Girls’ Committee hosted a tea to welcome the Class of 2014 to the Old Girls’ Guild.
Guest speakers included Trustee of The Blue Sky Society and conservationist, Bronwyn Laing; Director of Wildlands Conservation Trust, Louise Walker (nee Duys) and Elder at Glenridge Church, Heather Phipps (nee Ratcliffe).
The panel inspired the girls with their personal and professional journeys and provided the girls with entertaining anecdotes and some thought-provoking ideas about their futures.
“The common thread connecting all the panellists is that they are all remarkable women who have achieved across a variety of fields, and who are all, in some way, involved in the upliftment of our communities and preservation of our environment,” said Julia Cooke, Old Girls’ Administrator.
Tea and treats completed the fun hour spent mingling in the beautifully decorated Learning Resources Centre Foyer.
