Kloof High soccer team played some hard fought matches to earn second place.

The Kloof High School soccer team got a creditable second place in the Grey College Soccer Tournament.

They had a slow start to the tournament when they drew their match against DHS. However, they managed to pick up the pace when they beat Pinetown Boys’ High School, Hillcrest High School and Jeppe High.

Fired up by their wins they went on to beat Louis Botha in the semi-finals. In the finals they were beaten by old rivals, Brebner High School.

Each team member received a medal. Kloof High learner, Brian Khuzwayo was named “Striker of the Tournament”. He was awarded a trophy, a new pair of Addidas soccer boots and a voucher from Sportsmans’ Warehouse.
