Phumelele and Marguerite are SBS boffins

St Benedict School matric prize-giving.

ST Benedict School had its final matric prize-giving at the school on Friday.

Pupils were given prizes for their hard work, commitment and dedication throughout the year. The guest of honour of the ceremony was Carryn Scott who was a former head prefect at the school.

Phumelele Mbambo, the school’s head prefect won the principal’s award and the leadership award. Phumelele was also the subject prize winner for English, Mathematics and Life Sciences and was named joint Dux with Marguerite Strydom, who was the subject prize winner for Afrikaans, Accounting, Visual Art Theory and Visual Art Practical. Marguerite was also awarded the fellowship award.
