Coastal staff in armed robbed

The Coastal staff have been left traumatised after an armed robbery.

The Coastal Horse Care Unit staff were subjected to an armed robbery at the Rescue Farm in Cato Ridge at 10.20 pm last night (17 December).

The robbers held them up at gun point and robbed them of the computers, cell phones, jewellery brush cutters and the P.A system.

Gill Olmesdahl, Manager of CHCU said,”Luckily no one was hurt but staff and a volunteer from Holland are badly shaken. Staff will need some therapy after this ordeal which we are in the process of arranging.”

“This has really rattled our cage and we are just grateful that no one was injured or killed. This is a huge knock to our unit both emotionally and physically.
