Man injured in M13 roll-over crash

ONE man was seriously injured in a roll-over accident along the M13 on Fields Hill on Tuesday, 30 December.

It is believed the vehicle was travelling east-bound towards Durban in the wet weather when the vehicle spun out of control and overturned.

“Exact detail about the cause is still speculative and will form part of the police investigation. Netcare 911 paramedics and the rescue unit arrived at the scene and found the road obstructed by accident debris and the twisted remains of the vehicle. The man was found alongside the road,” said Netcare 911’s Chris Botha.

Botha said after the injured man was stabilised at the scene he was transported to a hospital in the area.
