Man arrested for raping a teenage boy
A 32-year-old man was arrested in Clermont for raping a 16-year-old mentally disturbed boy.
KWADABEKA police arrested a 32-year-old man for raping a mentally disturbed 16-year-old boy in Clermont.
W/O Sibusiso Ngcobo, communications officer at KwaDabeka SAPS, said the boy told his father that one of the tenants had inserted a key in his ‘private part’.
“The victim was taken to a doctor, who confirmed that the boy had been raped,” he said.
The father then reported the matter to KwaDabeka Police.
“The police searched for the tenant on Monday, 26 January but could not locate him at his residence; however, the police managed to catch him on Tuesday,” said Ngcobo.
A case of rape was opened. The man is in custody and will appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court.
