Police officer stabbed
A KwaDabeka policeman was critically injured when he was stabbed inside the police station.

A 33-YEAR-old man was arrested for stabbing a police officer inside the KwaDabeka SAPS crime service centre on Sunday, 15 January.
KwaDabeka SAPS communications officer, W/O Sibusiso Ngcobo, said a man arrived at the station with an injury to his face, carrying a knife.
“A police sergeant approached him to assist and the man attacked the officer, stabbed him in the stomach and tried to flee.
“Another officer pulled out his service gun and shot him in the right thigh in self defence, and the man was arrested,” said Ngcobo.
The police officer was rushed to Crompton Hospital in a critical condition while the man was taken to RK Khan Hospital where he was treated and released into police custody.
A case of attempted murder was opened at the KwaDabeka Police Station.
