‘The news for us was shocking’ – Cahill family
The family of slain Crestholme resident Mark Cahill hopes justice will prevail.
FOLLOWING an update that was posted this morning regarding Mark Cahill’s murder, family members from Zimbabwe and the UK contacted the Highway Mail newspaper.
Nicolette Cahill, who lives in the UK and last spoke to Cahill in January.
“The news for us was shocking and the violence is disturbing. Mark lived alone, therefore the ransacking of his home is all the more sad as he had very little. We would like to express our thanks to the police and his neighbour who helped him,” she said.
Lynley Cahill, who lives in Zimbabwe, said the family is grateful four men have been arrested and they hope justice prevails.
