Four arrested for Crestholme murder

Four men were arrested yesterday in the Hillcrest area for the murder of Mark Cahill, whose decomposed body was found in his Crestholme home on Thursday afternoon.

Police have confirmed Cahill’s house was found ransacked when they entered the property and some of the stolen goods were recovered following the arrest of the four men. Police are still searching for the family of Cahill.

Cahill’s neighbour said, “We have been trying to contact his family but we have had no luck. I have offered to assist with the funeral arrangements, but I can’t go ahead with the preparations until his next of kin have been informed.”
