Durban’s first banting market in Kloof

Banting dieting is not a 'quick fix'. Eating the 'banting way' - which means a low carb, high fat diet - is a lifestyle.

THE first Durban’s banting market was held in the Kloof Town Hall on Sunday, 19 April.

Banting dieting is not a ‘quick fix’. Eating the ‘banting way’ – which means a low carb, high fat diet – is a lifestyle. It becomes the new normal way of eating for a person.

It was a great success as many interested people attended. There were many stalls and suppliers selling banting products such as honey, eggs, banting ice-cream, biltong, bacon, pre-mixed and frozen banting goodies, veggies, mayonnaise, muffins, jams, banting lemonade, pestos and gym gear, to name a few.

It also featured nutritionists who specialise in the banting diet.

The next market will be held on Sunday, 10 May.
