Join the Kloof Round Table Knight’s winter campaign

With the colder weather making us reach for our blankets and warm clothing, the Knights of the Kloof Round Table are calling you to join them in the fight against the cold and to help them spread warmth to those less fortunate this June.

Donate a blanket, warm clothes or non-perishable food items or join The Kloof Round Table Knights for a bit of fun and fellowship during their night-time vigil at Stokers Arms in Kloof on Friday, 5 June from 4pm until midnight.

This project is a National Alliance Campaign for Round Table South Africa and a firm favourite with the Kloof Round Table.

“This is the 12th year that the Winter Knights campaign will unite communities through the giving and receiving of blankets, clothing and food that warm not only bodies, but the hearts of all involved,” said Leon Garbade, President of Round Table Southern Africa.

The success of this campaign lies in the passion of the Winter Knights whose delivery of winter supplies at homeless shelters, orphanages and old age homes brings smiles to the faces of young and old alike.

“We believe that the true measure of our success is the hope that is spread to those who receive and the joy that is felt by those who are able to give. We are looking forward to another successful fundraising project, which is only made possible with the involvement and partnership with our local communities.”
