Live it up the Gatsby way at Shongweni Polo

Don’t forget the bow tie, suspenders and Gatsby hat!

Polo lovers are in for a treat as The Gatsby National Polo Event takes place at the Durban Shongweni Polo Club on the 14 June.

Not only will there be top class polo as teams from KZN, Gauteng, Western Cape and the Free State compete against one another but top fashion partners for the day will model their chic and classic styles in an eye-catching fashion show – drawing inspiration from the element of polo fashion and vintage chicness.

The day will start at 10.30am with the Polo Horse Parade and Marching Band, followed by the first match (10.30am to 12.30pm), the fashion and vintage car show during the lunch break (12.30pm to 1.30pm), before the final polo match (1.30pm to 3pm) followed by Best Dressed Gatsby Guest and Prize Giving 4pm.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase or bring your own. This is an opportunity to experience something unique, dress to impress and have loads of fun.

Tickets cost R50 per person for general access; purchase a picnic table for 10 people for R350 per person which includes your entrance, an umbrella, chairs, picnic basket with a couple of bottles of wine or book a corporate client table for 10 in the Main Players Marquee for R750 per person for entrance, 3 course meal and wine. Top DJ’s will be rocking the main marquee at the after party.

Funds raised will go towards the futhering Education and Training Non-Profit Organisation. The purpose of this organisation is to help underprivileged children, and give them an opportunity to pursue their goals.
