Help Headway host annual winter games
A non-profit organisation is appealing for financial assistance for their winter games.
HEADWAY-NATAL, a non-profit organisation which provides support and rehabilitation to those who suffer from acquired brain injuries, will be hosting its annual winter games event. Patients, family members and Headway staff get to participate in fun and stimulating activities, and this year they will be hosting the event on 22 July from 9am to 12:30 noon at Leigh Cocks Hockey Field, Westville.
“The Headway-Natal Winter Games not only serves as a fun day for our patients and their families, but it also proves to be a good way to measure progress in our patients from the previous years. It also provides physical stimulation. The Winter Games 2014 proved to be a success, with 35 patients participating and 40 family members and staff attending the fun-filled event,” said Ian Vowles, Headway-Natal manager.
The organisation is appealing for funds to assist in making the Winter Games 2015 a memorable event. You can make a financial donation to go towards hiring the field on the day, food supplies and payment for staff on the day.
