Support Malvern Children’s home carnival
Have fun while supporting a good cause.
The Malvern Children’s Home is gearing up for its annual carnival fundraising day on Saturday, 1 August 1 from 9am to 1pm at 11 Coniston Avenue, Malvern, and you are invited to join in the fun and make a difference in a child’s life.
This year, the home is pulling out all the stops to make the carnival an unforgettable event for its children, the local community and all its generous supporters.
Malvern Children’s Home is a place of safety and, for many of its 120 children, the only real home they will ever know. But like most children’s homes across the country, this one is also under threat because of growing needs and lack of funding.
The carnival will include a tombola stall, a vintage car display, karate demonstration, face painters and two jumping castles.
On the entertainment side, you can expect a surprise performance by some of the young children and a vibrant dance performance by popular Durban duo, Statik. Selwyn Rautenbach and Clinton Green have danced together since 1995 and have performed at various events across the country, delighting audiences with their unique style.
Whether you come for brunch or lunch, there are plenty of food stalls to satisfy all tastebuds – from lamb-on-the-spit rolls to curries and cakes.
Entry is free. Any donations or assistance of any kind for the home will be greatly appreciated.
