Man crashes into wall in Pinetown

A man was seriously injured when his vehicle crashed into a wall along Caversham Road in Pinetown on Thursday, 27 August at around 6.32pm.

A report from the scene indicated that the man was moving his vehicle when, for some reason, he collapsed behind the wheel and accelerated into the wall.

“Paramedics and the rescue unit arrived at the scene and found that fellow workers had broken through the windshield to get to the patient. Paramedics stabilised the seriously wounded man at the scene before transporting him to a Durban hospital for the care that he required,” said Chris Botha, media liaison officer for Netcare 911.
