He won the prepared speech category in the Toastmasters youth leadership contest finals competition.

LUNGELO Kweyama, a pupil from St Benedict School in Pinetown, won the prepared speech category in the Toastmasters youth leadership contest finals competition.

The Toastmasters youth leadership programme is an eight-week course run by Leanne Massey on behalf of Forest Hills Toastmasters club and Toastmasters International.

In the course, pupils are taught to present various prepared speeches, impromptu speeches and how to evaluate amongst other leadership roles. At the end of the course there is a banquet where the pupils present to their parents.
