Man dies in Pinetown highway pile-up
Emergency services responded to a five car pile-up on the N3 last night.
ONE person died and nine others were injured in a collision on the N3 near Richmond Road, Pinetown last night.
According to ER24 paramedics one man, believed to be in his 20s was found trapped in a light delivery vehicle.
Despite medics best attempts to save the man, he was declared dead at the scene.
Other patients were assessed and found to have sustained minor to serious injuries.
They were transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
