TO help those in KwaZulu-Natal who are affected by the drought, Kloof Junior Primary School joined in on the #WaterShare project.
The initiative was started by East Coast Radio’s breakfast team on Tuesday, 26 January and encouraged all Durbanites to get involved. All of the water collected will be distributed to those in need.
Kloof Junior Primary School became a drop-off point in the upper Highway area. Local pre-primary schools, residents and pupils collected more than 500 bottles, ranging from 500ml to 20?.
“We all sit around thinking about how we can get involved. When this came up, we decided to take part. The Kloof community has been so incredible and supportive and I thank each and every person for getting involved in this great cause,” said Lyn Dobson, principal of Kloof Junior Primary School.
