Council services offered at Hillcrest Sizakala

Please take note of the correct telephone numbers and working hours for the Hillcrest Sizakala Customer Care Centre.

THE Hillcrest Sizakala Customer Care Centre is your one-stop shop for all your council service needs.

The centre is based in the Hillcrest Library grounds, 22 Delamore Road in Hillcrest, and offers a range of services from environmental health where you can report illegal dumping, noise complaints, water seepage onto your properties to overgrown properties (where no one residing on the property).

There is a roads department to report missing road signs, water faults, leaking pipes, potholes, missing manhole covers and broken curbs.

The parks division handles halls and sports field bookings, trees that need to be cut, verge cutting and the cutting of grass at halls and sports fields. Town planning assists residents who are requesting plans, upgrade plan approvals, rezoning and the reporting of illegal buildings.

The revenue department handles account queries, allows you to pay your metro bills and traffic fines and the sale of prepaid electricity.

The centre is open from Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 3.30pm on Monday to Friday.

The centre is also open on each first and last Saturday of the month from 7.30 am to 11.30 am. Office numbers that can be contacted are as follows 031 3112716, 031 3112717, 031 3112718 and 031 3116104, or email sizakala@durban.gov.za.
