Professor talks about ethics and sport

Professor Martin Prozesky is an excellent speaker and this talk will be entertaining and informative.

FRIENDS OF Kloof Library Forum will hold its next forum talk at Kloof Junior Primary School hall on Wednesday, 13 April at 6pm.

Guest speaker, Professor Martin Prozesky, will present a talk titled ‘Ethics and Sport’. Applied ethics in multi-cultural societies is Prozesky’s specialisation.

He is a professor extraordinaire at the University of the Free State and also an emeritus professor of the University of KwaZulu-Natal. While he was director of the Unilever Ethics Centre at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (1997-2007), he delivered many ethics workshops for educational, professional, sports and business organisations.

He is a keen follower of sport, especially cricket and rugby, enjoys movies, travel and reading and has a special love of steam trains when he can find any.

Professor Prozesky is an excellent speaker and this talk will be entertaining and informative. It’s certainly topical if one considers what is happening in the world of sport today.

Tickets cost R35 each for members of Friends or R50 each for visitors and are available at Kloof Library on 031 764 7543.
