Fulton pupils to represent SA in games

Fulton School for the Deaf had three of its pupils represent KZN at the recent National Deaf Development Games.

THREE pupils from Fulton School for the Deaf represented KZN in the National Deaf Development Games recently.

THE KwaZulu-Natal Deaf Sports Federation initially invited pupils from the Fulton School for the Deaf’s volleyball team to attend trials on Saturday, 27 February. Three of the talented players were selected to represent the KZN women’s volleyball team at the National Deaf Development Games from 18 to 22 March in Potchefstroom.

The KZN team won silver in this event. Four girls from the KZN team were selected for the South African Deaf Sports Association’s team, which included the three pupils from Fulton School for the Deaf.

“The pupils and staff of Fulton School are extremely proud of them,” said Beryl Campbell, principal of Fulton School for the Deaf.
