Pooch lovers go the extra mile

The pupils at St Benedict's School donated dog food and treats for the pooches at the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

ON Friday, 15 April, the Kloof and Highway SPCA had a wonderful visit from the Grade 6 pupils and teachers of St Benedict’s School.

“The pupils thoroughly enjoyed a tour of the kennel area, where they got to see all the wonderful animals that are in our care here at our SPCA. The Kloof and Highway SPCA believes that education is fundamental in teaching children to respect and care for animals,” said Lisa Mörck, the PR and outreach officer at the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

Once the tour was completed and fun was had by all, the pupils donated food and treats for the animals in the care at the NPO. To register for the Pet-Pals education programme or puppet show, or to make a booking for a school group to visit the Kloof and Highway SPCA or for the SPCA education team to visit your school, please e-mail marketing@kloofspca.co.za or call 031 764 1212/3.
