Car caught under rear wheel of truck on M7

The driver of the vehicle was examined on the scene and although traumatised, had sustained no injuries and did not want to go to hospital.

NETCARE 911 paramedics responded to a collision between a truck and a car on the N2 south at the M7 off-ramp on Wednesday, 20 April at 3.11pm. Reports indicate that one of the vehicles was changing lanes when the car was caught under the rear wheel of the truck.

“Medics arrived at the scene and found that the car had veered off on impact and smashed through the Armco barriers. Its twisted frame came to rest on the grass verge between the highway and the off-ramp. The truck had come to rest about a hundred metres down the road,” said media liaison officer, Chris Botha.

The driver of the vehicle was examined on the scene and although traumatised, had sustained no injuries and did not want to go to hospital.
