ACCORDING to the SAPS, a 39-year-old woman was allegedly attacked and raped on Saturday, 30 April when she was at her home in Thornwood, Mariannhill.
KZN SAPS spokesman, Lt Col Shooz Magudulela, said, “The Chatsworth Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit would like to make an appeal to the members of the community to assist them with regards to the case.”
A case was opened at Mariannhill police station and the docket was transferred to Chatsworth Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit, which is currently investigating the case.
The FCS Unit believes that the man, known by the name ‘Bishop’, in the attached identikit can be of assistance in solving the case.
