Police seek relatives of deceased

Anyone who has any information regarding the deceased can contact the investigating officer.

PINETOWN police are looking for the relatives of an unknown African male who passed away at RK Khan hospital Tuesday, 7 June.

According to Cpt Bongumusa Manqele, spokesman for Pinetown SAPS, the man was arrested for trespassing at a house in Shervick Crescent, Ashley, Pinetown.

“It is believed that the man was found in the lounge by the owner of the house. The deceased allegedly hit his head against the wall while trying to run away from the owner. He was taken to hospital for medical attention, where he died,” said Manqele.

Anyone who has any information regarding the man can contact the investigating officer, Det W/O Chippie van den Heever at Pinetown Detectives on 031 325 5054 during office hours.
