Get to know your ward candidates
Ward 64 and 65 residents are encouraged to attend this meeting as they will get a chance to ask candidates questions.
THE upcoming municipal elections are just a few weeks away and the Umhlatuzana Civic Association call upon ward 64 and 65 residents to get to know their candidates.
“We have found that many residents are unaware of which parties, and consequently which candidates, are contesting the seat in ward 64 and 65. In order to make residents aware and to assess the candidate’s knowledge of ward 65, the Umhlatuzana Civic Association has invited all contesting candidates to address the residents of ward 64 and 65, indicate their intentions and at the same time allow residents to question them on their intentions,” said General Secretary at the association, Sagren Naidoo.
The meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 17 July from 4pm to 6pm at the Umhlatuzana Community Centre on 141 Chatsworth Main Road, Umhlatuzana. For more information, call Sagren on 084 567 8132.
