GALLERY: Entrepreneurs graduate from business course

Through this programme churches are empowered to meet the spiritual and economic needs of the poor in their communities.

ELEVEN entrepreneurs graduated from the Paradigm Shift programme, a nine-week long basic business training skills course at St Elizabeth’s Church Hall, Westville.

This has enabled the entrepreneurs to expand their home businesses and to make bigger profits and provide better for their families.

The free training took place at the St Barnabas Anglican Church in Chesterville. The objectives of of the programmes are to train churches to provide business training, microcredit, mentoring and discipleship to the urban poor.

Through this programme churches are empowered to meet the spiritual and economic needs of the poor in their communities.

Pastor Steve Harrison of St Elizabeth Church, said, “What I like about Paradigm Shift is that it is not about hand outs, but it gives people skills and helps them regain their pride.”
