UPDATE: Sarnia Bridge samaritan woman found

BIANCA Brown sent out a plea message to find the woman who took a blanket from the boot of her car to quickly cover her deceased father, Barend van der Merwe after he jumped off a bridge.

Bianca said she just needed to know if the woman saw him jump or was he pushed off the bridge.

“I found her, she is a woman by the name of Susan. She did say that she tried to stop him,” said Bianca.

The incident took place on Monday, 29 August on Sarnia Bridge, Queensburgh.

“She said she could see that there was something wrong…he looked at her and then jumped,” she said.
