Shooting demonstrations offered to schools

Shooting association is currently promoting the sport throughout all KZN schools.

KZN Schools Bisley Shooting Association, which is the provincial body of the South African National Schools Shooting Union (SANSSU) is currently promoting the sport throughout all KZN schools.

“In doing so, it also aims to create further awareness under the different schools and give pupils an option to join from 2017 onwards. We have schools from all over KZN being part of the sporting body with a current amount of 130 members in KZN and nationally we have about 1300 members,”said Public Relations Officer, LeonĂ© Eckley.

She added that the different age groups range from under 13 to under 21 and schools participate throughout the year, to qualify to go to the national competition that is held in October each year.

“If your school or sporting co-ordinator would be interested in a further demonstration on a Saturday, please feel free to contact me to arrange a demonstration at your school on 061 189 0318,” added Eckley.
