Women unite at NPO launch

Dozens of women gathered for the launch of a women's empowerment initiative that will work with teens and adults.

OBETHU Ubuntu, a non-profit organisation that focuses on women and youth empowerment, was launched last Friday evening.

The objectives of the organisation are to empower women through the provision of educational and developmental programmes, seminars and campaigns.

Nolundi Mpulo, chairman of the organisation, said the services will focus on social entrepreneurship, business mentoring and coaching, life coaching, moral regeneration, growth and development, crisis management as well as motivation and inspiration. “The training sessions are all SETA accredited and will allow women to pursue their educational aspirations,” said Nolundi.
