Two New Year’s babies born at Life Westville Hospital

2017 has brought much joy for two couples who celebrated the arrival of their bundles of joy at Life Westville Hospital on New Year’s Day.

According to Mark Raptie, the marketing manager at Life Westville Hospital, two healthy baby boys were delivered earlier today.

The first baby, Kiaan Bramdev was born at 8.49am to proud parents, Videsh and Pearlene Bramdev. Kiaan is the couple’s first baby and he weighed 3.1kgs.

The second New Year’s baby, Michael Honneysett, entered the world at 10.24am and was welcomed by his ecstatic parents, Gary and Emma Honneysett. Michael is the couple’s second child and he weighed 4.4kgs.

Both mothers and babies are doing well and are expected to be discharged from hospital soon.
