WATCH: Thousands of water litres wasted

The pipe burst while workers were working on the road.

WITH the country experiencing water shortage and the consumers being urged to report water leaks and pipe bursts, thousands litres of water wasted in Clermont after a pipe burst yesterday.

The pipe was reportedly damaged by workers who were working on the road and it took hours for the plumbers to be sent out to fix the problem.

The Highway Mail spoke to one of the residents, Ayanda Mjwara. The concerned resident said she was worried about the thousands of water litres that were being wasted.
