Micheal’s compassion knows no bounds

Curro HCA's high school SPAR Star of the Month - February 2017.

CURRO HCA’s high school SPAR Star of the Month is Micheal Sweet, who has dedicated hours of his free time to volunteer at a non-profit organisation.

He was also the school’s first recipient of the new award, the Keris award for Enterprise, which was donated by two parents at the school. Along with the award he will also receive R10 000 towards his university fees.

Michael Sweet is the epitome of a servant heart, of one who leads by example, shares compassion and God’s love with all those he comes into contact with. Michael offers an exceptional service in the community with his involvement in The Food Run. He buys and collects donations of groceries and toiletries for families who are in need.

He then distributes these donations to families in Valley of 1 000 hills and then spends some time playing with the children. He is involved with the school’s interact club and extends his heart and hand to any initiative that it is involved with. “Michael’s humility and giving heart are to be commended and we encourage him to continue to graciously touch the lives of more families,” said Fiona Johnson, Curro HCA’s marketing manager.
