FULTON School for the Deaf’s SPAR Star of the Month is Connor Ahern for participating in the KZN Triathlon Provincial Championships recently.
He was placed fourth in his age category, 18 to 19 years old, and as a result he has been selected for the KZN squad and will represent the province at the SA championships in March in Bloemfontein.
Connor also swam his heart out at the Midmar Mile for the first time this year and took part in the races on both days, completing each swim in less than 29 minutes.
“We at Fulton School for the Deaf are extremely proud of Connor’s achievements,” said the school’s principal, Beryl Campbell.
