One injured in Westmead shooting

NETCARE 911 paramedics rushed to a shooting incident at an industrial site in Westmead, yesterday morning.

“Reports from the scene indicated that a security guard sustained an accidental wound by a fellow security guard,” said Netcare 911’s media liaison officer, Chris Botha.

Botha said the man had a flesh wound but was in a stable condition when paramedics arrived. He was then taken to a nearby hospital.
