Where were you when the #Tremor hit South Africa?

This is the fourth time in recent years that Durbanites have been left shaken by a tremor.

SOCIAL media has yet again been set ablaze after a tremor hit various parts of the country last night. People have reported feeling rattled in Gauteng, the North West, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal.

Some reports have suggested that the tremor might have been caused by an earthquake that struck in Moijabana, Botswana on Monday.

According to earthquaketrack.com, the quake registered at 6.5 on the Richter Scale. It is reportedly the biggest earthquake to have hit Botswana to date.

This was not the first tremor that shook Durban in recent years. In 2014, shops and businesses in the Durban CBD were evacuated as a tremor sent shockwaves through the country.

Then, on April 25 part of South Africa experienced another tremor after a devastating earthquake wrecked havoc in Nepal. It measured 2.5 on the Richter scale.

A third tremor was reported in February 2016. This after a quake, measuring 3.7 hit just north-west of Inanda Dam.

This morning #Tremor was still trending on Twitter.
