A MAN carrying metal sheets was spotted and arrested in the Queensmead Industrial area after the police were alerted to a robbery in progress.
Malvern SAPS W/O Trevor Raghundhan and Cst Sthembile Shezi searched the premises and found that the container with metal sheets was broken into.
“The suspect was arrested and transported to Malvern SAPS where he was charged accordingly,” said Malvern SAPS communications officer, Radhika Marimuthu.
The Station Commander, Lt-Col Valarine Reddy, commended the members on their arrest.
