Free ABET classes offered

The classes offers nationally recognised basic education and training for adults.

FREE ABET classes are being offered at Winston Park Primary.

ABET is Basic Education and Training for Adults who want to finish or improve their basic education.

The training aims to provide basic foundation learning tools, knowledge and skills, and provides participants with nationally recognised qualifications.

The classes (from Level 1 to level 5) are held from Mondays to Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm during school terms.

Registration is open.

Interested people need to take their ID and last school report to the first class.

Level 5 is a matric qualification and examinations will be written in June 2018.

Jenisha Kelawon (20) from Gillitts said she was excited to be furthering her education and working towards getting her matric qualification.

Thokozile Dlamini (34) from Clermont said she has matric. “I attend these classes to improve my English and Maths skills. I enjoy these classes and I recommend others to come and join us,” she said.
